Leave My Paula Alone!

Green Goddess on a cracker people get over it! I cant believe the flack she is getting for having diabetes and the way she cooks!


I have 2 very small points:

1. She cooks the way EVERYONE cooks in the south!  We eat fried chicken, biscuits with BUTTER, gravy, mac and cheese,  and pecan pie.  Actually the list of unhealthy foods is endless. If you don't like what she cooks then don't watch her show and don't cook the food the features. Why bash her for it?



2. She should have come clean about having diabetes? Why? You cant look at her and tell she either has or will have health problems?  Why is it anyone's business? 


Ok.......I am done with my mini rant. Ill just end with this.



Leave my sweet Paula alone! She is doing her thing and we should do ours.


PS. I had broiled salmon and field peas for supper.

LOL

  4. You know Im with you..... and if I ever crash in a plane in the mountains.... I hope she's on my flight. Why? Cause I bet shes delicious. Come on years worth of basting in butter? She has to be!!

  5. Actually I think the biggest reason why people are angry with her is for selling out and now representing that diabetic medication.

    1. Yes, I do wish she would reevaluate her eating habits. You can always alter the recipes. I just hate seeing people attacked.

  6. LOL. So right. She's a mess, health wise, but has never once claimed to be about health & wellness. She's a deep-South cook & proud of it. Everyone LOVES butter & fried foods, whether they are good for you or not.
